Navatar Group signs clients for private equity CRM application

Consulting firm Navatar Group has announced that several new customers are using its CRM for Private Equity, an on-demand application to manage operations for private equity, fund of funds and venture capital firms.

Navatar’s CRM for Private Equity is built and runs entirely on salesforce.com’s Force.com platform and is available on the Force.com AppExchange.

The new customers include MidOcean Partners, Crestview Advisors, Arlington Capital and GKM Newport.

The facility enables private equity firms to manage the fund lifecycle, identify potential investors for funds, track investor commitments and manage commitment transfers.

Denise Dickens, marketing and investor relations, MidOcean Partners, says: "Navatar’s Private Equity CRM for Force.com will enable us to manage fundraising, capital commitments, deal flow and portfolio performance with minimal internal IT resources and required no hardware or software expenditures or support.’

Alok Misra, principal of Navatar Group, adds: "To run their operations, private equity firms no longer have to depend on tedious on premise software that requires technical staff for maintenance. Force.com enables us to constantly roll out new features and innovation to all our private equity customers at the same time."
