Energy investor Lime Rock Partners appoints three managing directors

Lime Rock, a private equity firm focused on the global energy sector, has announced the naming of three new managing directors and several additional promotions.

Lime Rock, a private equity firm focused on the global energy sector, has announced the naming of three new managing directors and several additional promotions.

Longstanding team members Will Franklin (photo), J. McLane, and Simon Munro have all been named managing directors of the Lime Rock Partners team.

Franklin and McLane are based in Lime Rock’s Houston, Texas office, and Munro is based in Aberdeen, Scotland. McLane joined the Lime Rock Partners team in 1998, at the firm’s launch. Munro joined the team in 2002 and Franklin a year later.

Lime Rock also announces new titles of several longstanding team members: Westport, Connecticut-based Jeffrey Scofield is now a director of the Lime Rock Partners team; Westport-based Gary Sernovitz is now Lime Rock’s director, investor relations and business development; and Aberdeen-based Jason Smith is now a vice president of the Lime Rock Partners team.
 
Finally, Lime Rock also announces the hiring of Kris Agarwal in the new role of director and assistant general counsel. Mr. Agarwal was formerly at Vinson & Elkins and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom.
