International private equity firm Vestar Capital Partners has announced the promotion of Daniel Boege to executive director and of Andrew J. Cavanna and Brian P. O’Connor to principal.
Boege (photo), who joined Vestar in 2007, is currently a member of Vestar Europe in Germany. He was previously with Permira in Frankfurt and prior earlier a business consultant with Accenture in London.
Cavanna, who joined the firm in 2006, is a member of Vestar’s healthcare group, having previously been with Blackstone Group, JPMorgan Partners and Merrill Lynch.
O’Connor joined Vestar in 2000 and is currently a member of Vestar’s diversified industries group. He was previously with DLJ Merchant Banking Partners.
Vestar Capital Partners is an international private equity firm targeted toward companies in the US, Europe and Japan with valuations in the USD100m to USD5bn range.
Since the firm’s founding in 1988, the Vestar funds have completed over 65 investments in companies with a total value of over USD30bn.
