Clearwater International advises Four Eyes on investment by private equity firm Livingbridge

Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of healthcare consultancy Four Eyes Insight on its investment from mid-market private equity firm Livingbridge.

Founded in 2013, Four Eyes is a clinical productivity and service redesign specialist, providing detailed medical workforce plans to acute NHS trusts throughout the UK.
Stemming from the founders’ medical expertise, Four Eyes helps healthcare organisations best use their medical teams. Its service offering includes planning for demand and capacity, resource and constraint and cost improvement, allowing clients to realise savings and reduce patient waiting times.
The investment from Livingbridge will allow Four Eyes to expand its team and infrastructure, and invest further in the software facilities, to implement the firm’s growth plan. The combination of Livingbridge’s experience in supporting consultancies and companies working with the NHS, alongside Four Eyes’ client portfolio will enhance the service offerings available.
Clearwater International advised the shareholders of Four Eyes, led by partner and head of business services Marcus Archer, supported by director Wesley Fell-Smith and senior associate Daniel Rossington.
Dr Henry Carleton, co-founder and CEO, Four Eyes Insight, says: “Since our inception just under three years ago, we have worked hard to establish ourselves as a key partner for the trusts we work with, turning medical productivity plans into an operational reality and helping them to achieve significant efficiency gains and cost savings. Growing our team will now be a primary focus for the business and we are actively recruiting across all areas of the firm as we look to build on the strong momentum we have generated to date.”
Pete Clarke, partner, Livingbridge, says: “Livingbridge has a track record of working successfully with consultancy businesses and companies working with the NHS so Four Eyes Insight is in our sweet spot. We are very excited about working with such a passionate and well respected management team and see significant growth potential for the business. We will look to invest further in the products, services and software solutions for the NHS, given the constrained funding backdrop and the great work that the team do to help NHS Trusts ‘achieve more with less’ and maintain quality.”
Marcus Archer, partner, Clearwater International, adds: “The investment by Livingbridge allows Four Eyes to grow its team and continue its ambitions to be the market leader in its niche area of the healthcare consultancy market. With the credentials of being partner to over thirty NHS acute trusts over the past three years, the Four Eyes team, with the support and experience of Livingbridge, will doubtless be a continued success.”
