Campbell Lutyens adds to advisory board

Campbell Lutyens, a global alternative asset advisory firms focused on fund placement and secondary transactions, has appointed Dr Teh Kok Peng to its Advisory Board. 

Peng, was President of GIC Special Investments from April 1999 to June 2011, and remained an Adviser to GIC’s Group Executive Committee for two years after that. Prior to that, he was concurrently a deputy managing director of GIC and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Peng obtained a first class honours economics degree at La Trobe University in Australia, a PhD at Nuffield College, Oxford University and attended the AMP course at Harvard Business School in 1989. He began his career with the World Bank in 1975 under its Young Professionals Program. Peng is Chairman of Azalea Asset Management and Lu International. 

He is a board member of OCBC Bank, Sembcorp Industries, Fullerton Health Corporation and Taikang Insurance Group. He is a Senior Adviser to China International Capital Corporation, Jasper Ridge Partners, and a member of the International Advisory Board of CMC Corporation. He is a member of the Trilateral Commission. 

Campbell Lutyens has expanded its presence in Asia significantly over the last year, growing its Hong Kong team to 12 operating in both primary fund raising and secondary advisory transactions. During the last years Campbell Lutyens among others has acted for Everstone, Falcon House, IMM and Navis in their fund placements and has advised several Sovereign Wealth Funds, most recently Mubadala in its landmark $2.5bn secondary transaction. Campbell Lutyens will be opening a second Asia office in Singapore in the coming months.
