NewAlpha Asset Management is making its first InsurTech investment through a fundraising initiative conducted jointly with a leading global reinsurer on behalf of Digital Insure.
Founded in Paris by Fabrice Couturier, Jean Orgonasi and Richard Thibault, Digital Insure aims to become a leading European InsurTech within five years, specialising in personal protection with a comprehensive digital offering (developed since 2013) in individual loan insurance (ADE) via its subsidiaries.
The company is relying on the fundraising to accelerate its growth, invest in new technological innovations, broaden its range of products and services, and expand its business in Europe.
The timing is particularly apt, since all insurance and banking players are working on the digitalisation of their processes: Digital Insure offers a solution of excellence that is already operational among French insurance leaders. Furthermore, the regulatory environment is especially conducive to individual loan insurance, a sector in which BPSIs – a subsidiary of Digital Insure – has become one of the leaders three years after its launch.
“Our solutions enable our insurance and broker partners to optimise their operational processes, become more responsive and improve the satisfaction of their distributor clients and end users; these are three decisive factors in a competitive environment that will become much more pronounced,” says Jean Orgonasi and Fabrice Couturier, co-founders of Digital Insure.
