Ropes & Gray has advised Ensono, a hybrid IT services provider based in the US and Europe, on its USD405 million acquisition of a hosted data centre services business from Wipro Limited.
As a result of the deal, which was announced on 14 March 2018, Ensono – a portfolio company of Charlesbank Capital – has acquired eight data centres, employing over 900 people, significantly expanding its geographic footprint and global services capabilities.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Phil Sanderson, assisted by private equity lawyers Sonal Patel, Karla Agulgub and Folake Fani-Kayode, all based in London.
