Intuitus, a specialist in technology and digital advice to private equity firms and mid-market companies, has consolidated its digital expertise into a new Digital Practice specifically tailored to address the interests of the private equity sector.
The Digital Practice will provide Intuitus’ clients with thought leadership and actionable insight throughout the investment lifecycle, including a new Digital Maturity Assessment designed to quickly identify and evaluate digital opportunities and threats that could have a material impact on entry and exit value.
Led by Alasdair Redmond, Intuitus’ Head of Technology, the Practice comprises over 40 experts in digital technology and industry advances representing more than 1,000 years of expertise. It includes both practical and current experience of leading business change and it provides insight into a wide range of industry sectors, reflecting private equity’s broad investment interests.
The Digital Practice also draws upon Intuitus’ unrivalled experience of delivering more than 950 due diligence engagements for private equity clients throughout Europe and over 400 value enhancement engagements for the management teams of companies backed by private equity.
Intuitus’ Digital Maturity Assessment considers the ‘digital shift’, whether a threat or an opportunity, and also the readiness of the company for transformation. It is a first stage in meeting the challenges presented by digital disruption.
The Digital Maturity Assessment can be delivered as a stand-alone service or alongside a broader technology due diligence engagement. It can be undertaken for companies operating in all industry sectors and is just as relevant to a traditional business supported by technology as it is to a business differentiated by its technology platform or technology products and services.
