Ironwood Capital invests in Capewell Aerial Systems

Ironwood Capital has made an investment in Capewell Aerial Systems, a designer and manufacturer of tactical, parachute and aerial delivery products. Founded in 1881, Capewell has been in business for over 130 years.

“Over the past several years, Capewell has increased market share of its primary products and expanded its practice of accretive acquisitions to further diversify its revenue streams, product portfolio, end markets and customer base,” says Alex Levental, Ironwood Capital managing director. “It has built a very flexible foundation.”

Ironwood Capital Managing Director Jim Barra says: “We are pleased the existing Capewell management team will continue to lead the company. Management is intimately familiar with its markets and has entrenched relationships, allowing the team to work with customers to develop new proprietary products and drive continued growth.”
