Ironwood Capital has appointed Maryam Jalal as an analyst. Jalal is responsible for reviewing new investment opportunities, conducting research and performing financial modelling and due diligence. In addition, Maryam provides support for business development activities and portfolio management.
Jalal has an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Pakistan and a Master’s in Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Prior to joining Ironwood, Maryam worked as a financial analyst for Terakeet, a search engine optimisation firm. Previously she worked as a business intelligence analyst for Mobilink GSM, a multinational telecommunications company in Pakistan.
