Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, has announced that Petr Molchanov is rejoining the bank from Magnit, as Head of Investment Banking, Russia & CIS.
Petr will be based in Moscow and will report to Dmitry Gladkov, Acting Global Head of Investment Banking.
Molchanov will continue to develop Renaissance Capital’s IB franchise in Russia and CIS, with a focus on senior client coverage and deal origination and execution.

Petr’s extensive investment banking experience includes holding senior positions at Goldman Sachs, VTB Capital and Interros. He obtained a PhD in Economics and Master of Management degrees from Moscow State University, as well as completed Fox International Fellowship Program for post-graduate students at Yale University.
