TA Associates, a global growth private equity firm, has appointed Andrew Tay as a Senior Vice President in its Hong Kong office.

Tay focuses on investments in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining TA, Tay was a Vice President at Baring Private Equity Asia in the firm’s Singapore office and a Private Equity Associate at Snow Phipps Group. Tay began his professional career at Lazard Frères & Co., where he was an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. He received a BS degree, magna cum laude, in Operations Research from Columbia University and an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School.
