Akin Gump has advised Lighthouse, one of India’s leading, middle market private equity firms, in the final closing of Lighthouse India Fund III, with a value of USD230 million, and with additional capital available for co-investment opportunities. Fund III closed on 30 April, 2019.
Investors in Fund III include global institutions and a number of global endowments, pension funds and family offices. Including predecessor funds, Lighthouse now advises and manages cumulative assets under management of nearly USD500 million.
Akin Gump served as international legal counsel for Fund III, assisting on fund structuring, fund documentation and investor negotiations. Investment management partner John Holton in London led the team advising Lighthouse, joined by counsel Claire Conway.
