Pantheon appoints Principal to Global Infrastructure and Real Assets Investment Team

Pantheon has appointed Janice Ince as Principal to its Global Infrastructure and Real Assets Investment Team, based in Pantheon’s San Francisco office.

Ince will focus on North American investment opportunity sourcing, evaluation and execution. Bringing 18 years of experience in energy and infrastructure investment and analysis, Ince joins from SteelRiver Infrastructure Partners where she was a Principal focusing on North American core infrastructure investments.

Pantheon’s Global Infrastructure and Real Assets investment practice has enjoyed rapid growth since being established as dedicated investment strategies in 2009 and 2015 respectively. The investment heritage for each strategy extends back to 1997 when such investments were made within Pantheon’s private equity commingled strategies. At Q4 2018, the AUM for Pantheon’s Global Infrastructure and Real Assets practice exceeded USD11 billion. The practice is served by 20 dedicated investment professionals, of which 50 per cent are women, and is led by Kathryn Leaf Wilmes, based in the US with Andrea Echberg as Head of Europe.

“I would like to extend a warm welcome to Janice, who is a seasoned infrastructure and real assets market specialist with a strong, multi-year background in both investment and investor relations. She joins a busy team that is working hard on behalf of Pantheon’s investors to source and execute attractive investment opportunities,” says Kathryn Leaf Wilmes, Partner, Global Head of Pantheon’s Infrastructure and Real Assets Team, and a member of its International Investment Committee.
