In this week’s newsletter, we feature updates on the latest fund closes, starting with RA Capital Management, who have raised just over USD300 million for their inaugural VC Fund, the RA Capital Nexus Fund. This will enable RA Capital to take larger positions in high-conviction investments with their limited partners.
Incline Equity Partners have also closed with over USD300 million in committed capital for their fifth fund: the Incline Elevate Fund. The strategy will seek out and execute investments exclusively in the lower middle market, where Incline has a strong track record of success.
Elsewhere, we report that Preqin has made access to its proprietary PE data available via the FactSet workstation. In tandem with FactSet’s own datasets, users will be able to take advantage of a single integrated live data feed for a detailed analysis of PE managers and performance.
