Stableton launches startup & venture investment program focused on Switzerland

Stableton Financial (Stableton) has launched a startup & venture programme as a part of the firm’s alternative investments platform which was announced earlier this year.

The startup & venture program caters to qualified investors, and financial intermediaries in particular, who wish to provide their clients with efficient access to Swiss and European early-stage and growth companies.

Such investments have been difficult to access and required specialised expertise to evaluate. Due to their fiduciary character, lack of securitisation, and administrative overhead, financial intermediaries were previously unable to include startup and venture investments into their investable universe, let alone provide consolidated reporting or risk management that clients take for granted from other asset classes. Moreover, high minimums would often lead to a concentrated portfolio with low diversification. Stableton has set out to change this.

Stableton’s startup & venture programme focuses on co-investments with well-reputed experts in their field. investiere is Switzerland’s most active early-stage investor with over 100 transactions and financing rounds. The firm sees 95% of all VC deals in Switzerland, giving it unparalleled insight into the segment.

Andreas Bezner, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Stableton, says: “We are delighted to partner with investiere for the launch of our startup & venture program. We are proud to be able to share this opportunity with a wider group of people, who, only a few years ago, and regardless of their qualified investor status, would not have had access to this segment.”

“investiere is excited to work with Stableton and its entrepreneurial founders. Their concept of providing portfolio level access to our investment segment, and doing so through a bankable product with a Swiss ISIN, has the potential to be a true gamechanger,” says Lukas Weber, Co-Founder of investiere.

Stableton’s first co-investment alongside investiere, as well as other top-tier investors and international venture capital firms, will be into one of Switzerland’s leading and fastest-growing technology companies.
