We are delighted to welcome Sofya from the Central Bank of Russia to the Firm and to the research team. She will replace Oleg Kouzmin, our former Russia & CIS Economist, who moved to a similar position with a buy-side client in April. I am convinced she will make a perfect fit to the existing team and will help keep us at the top of the league. Renaissance Capital’s research is widely acknowledged in the market and among clients, particularly for its macro expertise, and we are committed to enhance it further.”

Donets, Russia & CIS Economist, Renaissance Capital, says: “I am happy to join Renaissance Capital and its award-winning research team. I hope that my expertise in macroeconomic and financial forecasting as well as understanding of the current macro policy landscape will serve the best interests of Renaissance Capital and its clients.”
