Peterson Partners (Peterson) has sold Performance Systems Integration (PSI), a leading provider of fire and life safety services in the Pacific Northwest to The Riverside Company (Riverside).
PSI, founded in 2002, is based in Portland, Oregon with an office in Seattle, Washington. The company provides a single point of management for compliance services and solutions for all its customers’ fire protection and life safety needs. PSI’s primary services include system design, installation, testing and inspection, service, repair and monitoring.
Since Peterson’s investment in 2014, PSI has grown significantly under CEO Travis Everton’s leadership. PSI increased sales and market share in both Oregon and Washington dramatically over this time period. In 2017, the company’s service offerings were expanded through the acquisition of Fire King, a leading provider of fire safety services with an expertise in fire extinguishers and gas cylinders. Further, the business has improved the quality of its revenue by greatly increasing its recurring and reoccurring revenue segments and built an industry leading team.
Travis Everton, CEO of PSI, was previously a Principal at Peterson Partners. Travis became the CEO of PSI via a Peterson-backed Search Fund. “I look forward to many years of continued success with Riverside, and they have big shoes to fill.
