Equiom makes senior leadership changes

Following its private equity partnership with Värde Partners, Equioim Group, a global professional services provider, is making changes to its senior leadership team.

Sheila Dean, the long-term Global CEO and original leader of the management buyout from Anglo Irish Bank that led to the creation of Equiom in 2006, is moving to Executive Chair of the Group.

In her new role, Dean will focus on managing key external relationships for the Group, and continue to maintain her key existing client relationships. Dean will work with the new CEO and the Global Board on key strategic initiatives including expanding the services that Equiom offers and understanding its clients’ needs and working with the Group’s M&A activity.

Dean says: “Having been part of this business almost from the very beginning I’m excited about this next stage, not only of my journey with this business but the journey of the business itself. We have such a strong platform on which to build and deliver our ambitious plans for growth, and I’m looking forward to playing my part in that and supporting the new CEO and the Board as we set about achieving those goals.”

Elena Lieskovska, Partner and Head of European Financial Services at Värde, adds: “We are excited about our partnership with Equiom and looking forward to supporting the new leadership team with future growth of their business.”

Yann Souillard, Head of London at LDC says: “It has been very rewarding to see the success and growth of Equiom since we started our relationship with Sheila and the team in 2013, and we’re very much looking forward to continuing our relationship and that success alongside our colleagues at Värde.”
