Morgan Stanley Investment Management appoints Jill Wright as Managing Director

Jill Wight is joining Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s (MSIM) middle market private equity investment team, as a Managing Director.

Wright will be an Operating Partner leading MSIM’s operational efforts for consumer and healthcare. In this role, she will work closely with Aaron Sack, MSCP’s Fund Head and Jim Howland, MSCP’s Head of Portfolio Operations. An industry leader, Jill has deep experience driving value at portfolio companies through operational initiatives. 
 
Wright joins from The Carlyle Group where she was a Principal and Head of Portfolio Operations for Carlyle Equity Opportunity Funds.  During her time at Carlyle, she evaluated and monitored portfolio company performance and oversaw the implementation of operational best practices in over twenty companies. Jill previously worked in the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs leading portfolio company value enhancement. She also held positions at GSC Group, Bain & Company and Marakon Associates.
 
Wright’s addition to the team reinforces MSCP strong culture of operational excellence and focus on creating value by constantly innovating our approach to portfolio operations.  The team has a long history of emphasising value creation through operational change starting in 2007 with the introduction of full-time, fully integrated operational partners (long before the concept became popular.)
 
Additionally – Sharveen Seebaluck, also recently joined MSCP as a Vice President on the portfolio operations, as part of the team’s efforts to deepen its operations talent. Sharveen joins from McKinsey & Company and has significant experience in growth transformation at consumer companies.
