In partnership with Private Equity Wire (PEW), SS&C Intralinks has published the 2020 LP Survey. This is the third year that SS&C Intralinks have partnered with PEW to poll, interview and analyse data from global limited partners (LPs), which this year totalled 182.

The results of the survey indicate that private equity remains by far the most popular asset class among investors, when compared to other alternative asset classes.

PEW recently interviewed two leading industry practitioners – Quilvest Private Equity Partner Jean-François Le Ruyet, and bFinance Director, Private Equity Sweta Chattopadhyay – to appraise the performance of private equity (PE) funds this year, and why they remain an alluring proposition.

Among other things, Le Ruyet and Chattopadhyay cite provate equity’s continued ability to deliver on long-term performance and the increasing focus that investors are placing on manager/company-level due diligence.
