Renaissance Capital adds to Nigeria investment banking team

Renaissance Capital, an emerging and frontier markets investment bank, has appointed Oladipupo Olalere Adekanmbi as Vice President, Investment Banking, Nigeria.

Adekanmbi is based in Lagos and reports to Temitope Popoola, CEO, Nigeria and Risana Zitha, Head of Investment Banking, Africa.

Popoola says: “We are glad to welcome Oladipupo to our on-the-ground team. He has a strong track record in financial advisory, corporate finance, structured finance and project finance, which dovetails particularly well with our recently deepened structured products and financing offering in Nigeria.”

Zitha adds: “We are happy to strengthen the team in Nigeria as we continue to enhance our client offering in the region.  has extensive experience advising both public and private sector clients in selected industries including financial services, power, real estate, oil & gas, agriculture, aviation, telecommunications and professional services. I am sure his skills will perfectly complement the existing pool of capabilities.”

Adekanmbi brings more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry. In his most recent role as Senior Associate of Financial advisory at FBN Quest Merchant Bank, he took the lead role on a majority of transactions. Adekanmbi graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management and from the ICMA Centre (Henley Business School), University of Reading with a Master of Science in International Securities, Investment and Banking. He is a CFA level 3 candidate.
