Rimon Law adds Corporate and Financial Services attorney in Washington DC office

Rimon Law has appointed Debbie Klis as Partner in its Corporate and Financial Services teams based out of the firm’s Washington, DC Office. 

Klis joins Rimon from Polsinelli in Washington, DC where she was shareholder.

Klis brings extensive experience to Rimon in forming and advising private equity firms, investment funds and other financial sector participants in a wide range of capital markets and securities law matters.  She counsels venture capital funds, creates complex domestic and international joint ventures, domestic and offshore funds, Opportunity Zone Funds, real estate investment funds and trusts, EB-5 funds, and large master-feeder structures.

At Rimon, Klis will join a deep and talented Financial Services group with significant experience in a broad range of domestic, international and cross-border financing transactions, and adds to its excellent Leveraged Finance team that includes Ken Weinberg and Jen Howard, who also joined Rimon this year.  Klis can tailor her practice to fit the individual needs of each of her clients through Rimon’s unique business model.

Klis has considerable experience with private securities offerings and financial products, counselling private equity managers, fund structuring, capital raising, Advisers Act and broker-dealer advice, investment structuring, impact investing (ESG criteria), and has worked on cutting-edge matters such as the first private qualified opportunity fund established to operate as a venture capital fund and the first investment vehicles that combined several federal funding programs/incentives for project finance.
