AnaCap promotes three to Partner

AnaCap Financial Partners (AnaCap), a specialist European financial services private equity firm, has promoted Edward Green, Nassim Cherchali and Tassilo Arnhold to Partner, further strengthening its senior team. As part of this promotion, the individuals will also be appointed to AnaCap’s investment committees as voting members for private equity and credit respectively.

Green joined AnaCap in 2007 as part of our Business Services team within private equity, leading operational engagement across various portfolio companies. His involvement helped Cabot Credit Management becoming a leading UK consumer debt purchasing company and First Names Group developing into a top, global corporate trust and services provider. In 2018, Green joined Credit, where he leads an integrated portfolio asset management platform across London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Lisbon and Milan, including debt servicing and real estate management for our Credit investments. In addition, he is responsible for the Analytics team in London and Delhi supporting both Credit and Private Equity.

Cherchali joined the firm in December 2008 as an Associate and was subsequently promoted to Manager in 2012, Director in 2015 and Managing Director in 2018. Cherchali has single-handedly been responsible for establishing and building AnaCap’s investment strategy in the French market through the acquisitions of AssurOne, Ellisphere and Milleis, and also more recently led AnaCap’s latest UK acquisition, Wealthtime and our latest investment in GTT, our first Spanish PE investment. Cherchali also completed the successful exits of Ellisphere, First Names Group, and Aldermore.

Arnhold joined AnaCap in 2015 and immediately led the sale of Simply Business. He subsequently drove the successful acquisition, seven bolt-ons and exit of heidelpay, AnaCap’s first portfolio company in Germany, which generated strong investment returns for AnaCap’s Private Equity franchise. Arnhold also led the acquisition of Dansk Sundhedssikring in Denmark, AnaCap’s first investment in the Nordic region.

Joe Giannamore, CEO and CIO at AnaCap, says: “Edward, Nassim and Tassilo have made huge contributions to the success of AnaCap, have actively promoted our culture and have consistently performed at exceptional standards. These Partnership promotions not only strengthen our existing partnership but are also consistent with AnaCap’s ethos of encouraging promoting ambition, dedicated and talented individuals from within.”
