Seaford Finance appoints MD of loan origination and execution
Seaford Finance, a real estate debt consultant, has appointed Jon Warman as managing director of loan origination and execution. Warman joins the partnership with a focus on accelerating the growth of the business in the UK and Europe.
With more than 12 years’ experience in the real estate sector, Warman joins Seaford Finance from Spring11, where he spent five years as co-head of the European real estate advisory business. Prior to this, he was a director in LNR Europe’s investment management and NPL advisory division, where he was responsible for underwriting more than GBP70 billion of NPL transactions.
During his career, Warman has worked on all aspects of the real estate lending process from asset and loan underwriting for large institutions to loan workouts, restructuring, distressed debt investing, special servicing and debt origination.
Warman holds a Bachelor's degree in Property Investment and Finance from the University of Reading and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Morris Rothbart, Founder and Managing Partner at Seaford Finance, says: “This is an important strategic hire for Seaford Finance as we look to increase the scale of the business and provide our clients with access to an even broader range of debt financing.
“As a result of the impact Covid-19 is having on the real estate market, we are seeing heightened demand for debt across several sectors, including development funding within the leisure and BTR / PRS sectors.”
Warman says: “Seaford Finance combines exceptional reach within the real estate lending community with creativity and a drive to find the best solution for each client and project.”
