Duff & Phelps, the world’s premier provider of governance, risk and transparency solutions, today announced that it has appointed Kris Carpen as Senior Director within its Global Restructuring Advisory practice, based in London.
Carpen has over 20 years of experience in providing restructuring advise and support to underperforming businesses and their stakeholders. He joins Duff & Phelps after three years as a director of restructuring at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M). Prior to joining A&M, Carpen spent two and a half years with Monitor, the English Healthcare Regulator, and before that over 14 years with KPMG’s restructuring team.

While Carpen has worked with clients of all sizes from large listed entities to small owner managed businesses, his focus will be on the mid market, bringing with him detailed knowledge of healthcare, airlines, professional services, retail, telecommunications and entertainment.
