TA Associates, a global growth private equity firm, has appointed Rafael Telahun as a Vice President in its Menlo Park office and as a member of the firm’s North America Services Group.

Prior to joining TA, Telahun was an Investment Director at CVC Capital Partners. Earlier, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of a venture-backed technology startup. Telahun started his career at Citigroup before joining Sun Capital Partners, both in New York. He received a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
