EmergeVest makes Chief Sustainability Officer appointment

EmergeVest, a Hong Kong-headquartered, growth-oriented private equity investment group with holdings that include EV Cargo, a leading global logistics-technology company and the largest private logistics company in the UK, has appointed Dr Virginia Alzina as a Managing Director and Head of Sustainability.

Alzina, who will also serve as the Chief Sustainability Officer of EV Cargo, has over 25 years of professional experience in ESG matters on a global basis, having served as the Group Head of Sustainability for Yoma Strategic Holdings and the CEO of the United Nations Environment Program, among other senior roles. She holds a PhD from George Washington University, MSc from Johns Hopkins University and MA/BA from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
