Kearney appoints new European lead for Private Equity and M&A Practice

Global consultancy Kearney has promoted Alberto Fumo to European lead for the firm’s Private Equity and M&A practice (PEMA). Based in London, Fumo has risen through the ranks in the firm over the last eight years developing the PEMA practice. 

Fumo brings more than 20 years of advisory experience with private equity funds, venture capital, and corporations to the role. During this time, he has successfully advised on more than 300 acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures. In his new role, will be tasked with growing the firm’s footprint in the PE and Corporate M&A sector across Europe. 

The firm’s Private Equity and M&A practice has grown substantially over the past five years. Kearney has recently added more names to its leadership team with the announcement of Jan Timmermann and Oleg Zubarev as new partners in the UK and similar senior appointments across all European markets. Under Fumo’s leadership, the practice will aim to further accelerate growth in the region and continue to push for stronger propositions for clients across the full transaction cycle.
