Mid-market private equity firm NorthEdge has launched a dedicated app to facilitate collaboration and encourage networking amongst its portfolio companies.
The platform, Nexus, will be a central hub of information and has been designed to give NorthEdge’s portfolio company teams a forum to collaborate, communicate and share best practice approaches on building successful businesses. The app will also provide access to NorthEdge’s wider network of experts and operating partners.
Nexus, named after the important connection between the parts of a system or a group of things, will also host easy-to-access information and insight produced by experts on topics such as building a strategic pricing strategy, how to use technology to grow your business and how to create people plans that empower and engage teams.
NorthEdge says that not being able to connect physically as often as they would typically, as a result of a year in lockdown, encouraged the private equity firm to turn to technology and build a platform that would encourage and facilitate collaboration at all times.
NorthEdge’s portfolio comprises 22 businesses, with over 6500 people employees.

The platform is available exclusively to NorthEdge’s portfolio and will be regularly updated with content, new users from across the portfolio and NorthEdge’s growing network of experts.
