GCA Altium advises RideMovi on Series A financing round from Generali

Global investment bank GCA Altium has acted as exclusive financial adviser to the shareholders of RideMovi, a leading player in the industry of European shared micro-mobility based in Italy, on their Series A growth financing round from Generali.

RideMovi contributes to reducing congestion, traffic and air pollution, improving the quality of life of people in the cities where it operates. The RideMovi app allows users to find, unlock, ride their preferred vehicle (bike, e-bike, e-scooter) and park it at any public parking space, giving users the freedom to move in a fast and convenient way.

RideMovi can leverage a unique competitive advantage thanks to its consolidated market leadership in Italy and Spain, and its superior software and hardware will enable effective expansion into new geographies. With over two million registered users, the company is already playing an important role in transforming urban mobility, providing a safer, healthier and greener environment for cities and its residents.

The growth financing received from Generali, one of the top 100 sustainable corporations in the world, will be used to boost RideMovi’s international expansion efforts, consolidate its core market leadership and reinforce its fleet of over 30,000 vehicles.

Alessandro Soprano, Managing Director at GCA Altium’s Milan office, says: “We are convinced that Generali is the ideal partner to support Ridemovi in the next phase of growth. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Ridemovi team and we wish the Company and its new investor Generali well for the future.”
