Inflexion completes acquisition of Oslo-listed Infront and appoints Chair

Inflexion has completed the acquisition of Infront ASA, a European provider of financial market data and software solutions currently listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. 

The founders of Infront, CEO Kristian Nesbak and CIO Morten Lindeman, are reinvesting a portion of their proceeds alongside Inflexion. The investment is being made by Inflexion Buyout Fund V and Supplemental Fund. The business will be delisted shortly after the acquisition.

Headquartered in Oslo, Infront provides a suite of data and software solutions which allow financial institutions to manage investment decisions, reduce costs and comply with changing market requirements. The company serves more than 3,600 customers with over 90,000 professional users and has 500 employees across 13 countries in Europe and South Africa.

Inflexion will support the management team at Infront to accelerate their M&A strategy and deliver synergies from recent acquisitions, whilst continuing to invest to grow the business organically.

Inflexion has appointed Robert Jeanbart as Chairman of the Board. Jeanbart is a non-executive Director of Rimes Technologies. Prior to this, he was the CEO of SIX Financial Information, where he drove major and sustainable operational and business transformation, supported by innovation and new business development.

Jeanbart has 34 years of international management experience and proven expertise in various areas of the financial information sector. He held senior management positions at SunGard (now FIS) and Reuters (now Refinitiv).

Jeanbart says: “I am looking forward to working with the teams at Infront and Inflexion to accelerate the growth of Infront and strengthen its leadership position in its core markets.”
