Sova VC launches new USD50m liquidity fund backed by Luna Wealth

Luna Wealth (Luna), an International investment and asset management group, has launched a new USD50 million liquidity fund, aimed at providing new liquidity solutions and opportunities to early-stage shareholders and investors in high growth technology companies.

Sova VC, has launched a new USD50 million liquidity fund, aimed at providing new liquidity solutions and opportunities to early-stage shareholders and investors in high growth technology companies.

Managed by Sova VC, the Liquidity Fund (– the SOVA VC SCSP RAIF – SOVA VC x LUNA Late Stage & Pre-PO Liquidity Fund – is backed by anchor partner Luna Wealth and will typically invest between USD1.5 and USD9.5 million to acquire equity in growth stage companies where early shareholders – such as founders, business angels, CEOs, managers, employees and other early-stage investors or shareholders – wish to obtain partial or full pre-exit liquidity.
 
Established in 2020, Sova VC is an international investor focused on backing and building ambitious and disruptive technology companies. Its initial fund, launched in January 2021, targets early-stage (Late Seed and Series A) companies, with a particular focus on B2B and B2B2C marketplaces and software platforms with the potential to expand vertically across sectors and markets. 

The new USD50 million liquidity fund will provide flexible solutions to the direct secondary market, allowing shareholders to realise early returns, and Sova VC to further build its portfolio by acquiring minority stakes, between regular fund-raising rounds, in high-growth tech start-ups.
