A secondary funding round led by Square Peg and Wellington Management has seen the valuation of e-commerce tech company Rokt increase to $2.4 billion, less than 12 months after the firm raised $325 million in a Series E fundraising round.

New York-based Rokt, which is planning for an IPO, was valued at $1.95 billion after its Tiger Global-led Series E round, which also saw participation from Whale Rock Capital Management and Pavilion Capital also participated, as well as Wellington and Square Peg.

Rokt was founded in Australia in 2012 and has subsequently expanded operations to 19 countries across North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. It counts GoDaddy, Expedia and Wells Fargo among its customers and during this year has also signed new partnerships with Uber and AMC Theatres.
