Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2023, have not been disclosed.
The Milk Specialties Human Nutrition division manufactures performance nutrition that produces dairy protein ingredients and products for the health and nutrition category. The company operates 12 processing plants in the U.S., led by CEO and industry veteran David Lenzmeier, who will continue in that capacity.
