Alvarez & Marsal expands private equity services group in Chicago

Alvarez & Marsal has expanded its Midwest presence with the addition of Riddhish Dubal as a managing director. Dubal, who will be based in Chicago and Detroit, brings over 17 years of private equity and corporate experience working with companies across multiple sectors with a particular focus on the automotive and transportation industry.

Dubal’s holistic approach improves clients’ ability to identify and evaluate investments and acquisitions, exit strategies, separation planning and asset disposal, as well as performance and profit improvement and operations management throughout the full lifecycle of a business.

“In the face of one of the most transformative times in recent history, the savviest private equity firms are recognising the critical importance of operational performance improvement as a way of driving accretive value across their portfolios. As deal flow continues to gain steam, the most successful firms will continue to apply those leading practices,” says Nick Alvarez (pictured), managing director and a national practice leader for A&M’s Private Equity Services. “Riddhish’s breadth of experience, both as an adviser and management executive, adds to the deep bench of talent in our private equity services group and strengthens our Midwest presence, while expanding and enhancing our capabilities in the automotive and transportation industries.”

Prior to joining A&M, Dubal worked with KPMG as a national practice leader in Operational Due Diligence and with AlixPartners leading operational turnaround and performance improvement. He began his career with Chrysler serving in various executive roles within finance, strategy, business planning, product development, manufacturing, sales and marketing.

Dubal earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. He currently resides in Metro Detroit.
