Mike Geller

Executive Vice President & Head of Alternative Asset Management

Mike Geller advises founders, C-Suite executives and business leaders of private investment firms and publicly-traded financial institutions on strategic communications, including financial and corporate public relations, reputation management and leadership positioning.
He has significant expertise counseling major hedge funds, emerging asset managers and international investment firms spanning a broad array of investment styles and strategies.
In addition to creating and executing strategic communications programs, Mike helps companies manage communications across a variety of sensitive matters and special situations, including M&A, divestitures, restructurings, creditor rights, litigation, regulatory matters and leadership transitions.
Prior to joining Edelman, Mike was director and head of public relations for RBS’s investment bank in the Americas. Before RBS, he held senior corporate communications positions at Pershing LLC—a BNY Mellon company—and Cantor Fitzgerald. He began his career as a communications strategist at Moody’s Investors Service.
Mike earned a BA in Communications from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Finance with honors from Iona College.

Rich Myers leads the financial practice in New York at Edelman, the world’s largest public relations agency.

Rich has more than 25 years’ experience working with leaders in the financial sector, government and politics to develop and manage effective stakeholder communications programs. He as served in high-profile roles at Nasdaq, the Chicago Board of Trade, Liquidnet, the U.S. Treasury Department and on Capitol Hill in Washington.
