Scott Watson-Brown

Asset & Wealth Management Leader

Scott Watson-Brown is the Asset & Wealth Management leader at PwC Bermuda, overseeing a team of more than 50 professionals in the provision of assurance, tax and advisory services to clients in the alternative investment industry.

He has more than 18 years of experience providing specialized audit and advisory services to clients who encompass a wide variety of asset classes, including hedge, private equity and real estate funds, capital market/reinsurance convergence structures (insurance-linked securities), investment advisers and other offshore investment structures.

Highly experienced in the area of insurance linked securities, Scott assists clients through significant transactions, including initial public offerings, structuring of vehicles and helping clients understand and resolve operational and accounting challenges with their offerings. Scott has significant experience working with clients in the US, UK, and Bermuda. He is currently the lead engagement partner on several ILS fund clients.

Scott is a Member of both the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Scott Slater

Tax Services Leader

Scott Slater is a partner in PwC’s Caribbean region international tax services group based in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. He leads a team of approximately 25 tax specialists who focus on assisting captive insurance companies, international re/insurance companies, and hedge and private equity investment funds with their US and international tax accounting, planning, and compliance matters. Prior to joining PwC Bermuda in 2005, Scott worked in the PwC Chicago office where he practiced in a variety of tax technical areas.

Scott holds Bachelor of Science (Accountancy) and Master of Science (Taxation) degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and CPA Bermuda. He holds current licenses to practice public accounting in the State of Illinois and Bermuda.
