Global law firm Latham & Watkins has appointed Yohei Nakagawa as a Partner within the firm’s M&A and private equity practice in its Tokyo office. 

Swedish investment firm EQT has appointed Peter Aliprantis as Partner and Head of the firm’s private wealth management business in the Americas. In his new role, Aliprantis will report to Peter Beske Nielsen, Partner and Global Head of Private Wealth, and will be based in EQT’s New York office.

Pan-European private investment firm Tioopo Capital has appointed Philippe Duval, formerly CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Corporate Finance, to its advisory board with effect from 1 May 2024. 

London-based private equity firm Epiris has appointed Mike Ebeling as a Partner within its investment team. In his new role, Ebeling will work with the firm’s investment team to deploy Epiris Fund III, which closed in February at £1.044bn.
