European private equity firm PAI Partners says it is in the final stages of negotiations for the sale of SGD Pharma, a global manufacturer of glass packaging for the pharmaceutical industry, to JIC in a deal thought to be worth in excess of EUR1 billion.

And in the VC space, PROfounders has bagged its fourth ‘unicorn’ with the pricing of online furniture retailer Made.com ahead of its planned IPO on the London Stock Exchange. The USD1bn-plus listing will deliver a 25x return for PROfounders investors.
