Align Capital Partners’ (ACP) Fire and life safety platform, Protegis Fire and Safety (Protegis), has acquired Florida Fire Service (Florida Fire).
The Tampa-based company provides fire alarm, sprinkler and extinguisher inspection and repair services, along with service and installation. As a result of Protegis’ growth, Florida Fire now employs nearly 350 fire protection technicians across the country.

ACP initially invested in Protegis following its acquisition of ISA in 2017. Florida Fire is Protegis’ third add-on acquisition since 2018.
