StepStone promotes six to Partner

Private markets firm StepStone Group has named six new partners in four of its offices around the world.

Ian Aaker (La Jolla) joined StepStone in 2008 and is a member of the private equity team, focusing on US-based middle, large, and global buyouts.
 
Rebecca Ajavananda (New York), who joined the firm in 2010, focuses on marketing and investor relations across all asset classes.
 
Kate Budiselik (Perth), who joined the firm in 2014, is a member of the infrastructure and real assets team.
 
Tracy Harris (New York) joined the firm in 2016 and is a member of the private equity team, focusing on small-market buyouts, growth equity, venture capital, and emerging managers. She also leads the firm’s ESG initiative.
 
Jay Morgan (New York), who joined StepStone in 2017 from Courtland Partners, is a member of the real estate team.
 
John Waters (San Francisco) joined StepStone in 2014 and is a member of the real estate team.
