The Thomson Reuters Private Equity Buyout Index and the Thomson Reuters Venture Capital Index fell by 1.88 per cent and 0.19 per cent, respectively, in October.
Year to date, the indices are up 3.64 per cent and 3.63 per cent respectively.
The Thomson Reuters PE Buyout and VC Indices seek to track the aggregate gross performance of their respective industries in the US.
They are the first indices to allow liquid access to the gross performance of the private equity and venture capital industries through index-linked investment products.
Both the Thomson Reuters PE Buyout Index (TRPEI) and the Thomson Reuters VC Index (TRVCI) are published daily.
