Digitising the search for capital

In this webinar, produced in conjunction with FIS, we will look at how digitisation has changed the way PE groups approach sourcing capital in the global marketplace.

With greater ability to collate and share data in a virtual world, some GPs have seen increased investor engagement, an augmented investor pool and an accelerated fundraising process. By increasing transparency, sharing regular insights with investors on performance at the Fund level, and look through to the individual Portfolio Company level, PE groups have been able to reinforce the bonds of trust.

How does digitisation accelerate trust, transparency and access in the fundraising process in a post-Covid world?

This webinar will seek to answer the question and touch on the following points:

  • How are GPs using digital tools to accelerate the way they source capital – what are the pros and cons to doing this?
  • How is technology making it easier to customise content as part of the reporting process, and measure the level of engagement?
  • To what extent is this reinforcing the LP relationship, and leading to stronger re-up activity?  How are PE firms using data tools/tech tools to better identify new investors and new sources of capital? What are some of the real-life insights that have arisen?
  • Can technology also support GPs in how they prepare for investor ODDs – ie allowing for more partners to get involved in the process and make it more collaborative?
  • What might the future look like, as technology becomes a more integral part of the fundraising process? ff

Panel:
– Gemma Braithwaite // Investor Relations Managing Director // All Seas Capital
– Michael Bane // Head of US Investor Relations // ARDIAN
– James Williams // Editor In Chief // Private Equity Wire
– Shannon Dolan // Head of Asset Management and Private Markets // FIS
