Rural Physicians Group has formed a strategic investment partnership led by Sorenson Capital with additional support from Leavitt Equity Partners.
This partnership will leverage Sorenson Capital’s extensive experience in accelerating growth of high performance companies and Leavitt Equity Partners’ expertise in healthcare, better positioning Rural Physicians Group to dramatically expand its reach and ability to support rural healthcare throughout the United States.

Rural Physicians Group partners with hospitals to keep patient care local by dramatically reducing the need to transfer patients to higher levels of care and enhancing patient safety and quality through improved continuity of care. RPG identifies the needs of the hospital both operationally and culturally and then selects a core group of three to four hospitalists that stay onsite 24/7 and rotate in seven to 10 day shifts. Through the enhanced availability and accessibility of the hospitalists to patients, families, nursing, primary care physicians and surgeons, hospitals realise significant gains in operational performance enabling them to better care for the health and wellness of the community.
