TOP STORY: Intermediate Capital Group Plc (ICG), the €101bn London-headquartered private equity firm, has secured €15.2bn ($16.8bn) for its latest European direct-lending fund, making it the largest fund of its kind in the region, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Schroders Capital, the $97.3bn private markets business of Schroders Group, has successfully raised over $2.6bn for private equity direct and co-investments since January 2022, most recently driven by €400bn close of Schroders Capital Private Equity Europe Direct III.
Sienna Private Equity, a value-oriented mid-market European private equity investment manager, has secured €400m in commitments from investors, for its inaugural investment vehicle Sienna Private Equity Fund I.
BEX Capital, a private investment firm focused exclusively on secondaries in private equity fund-of-funds (FoF), secondaries funds and co-investment funds, has held the final close of BEX Fund V at its target of $765m in capital commitments.

Cubera Private Equity has held the final close of its latest Nordic secondaries fund – Cubera X – at its hard cap of €780m, ahead of its target size of €700m. Including GP commitments the total size of the oversubscribed fund is €807m.
The Louisiana Teachers’ Retirement System, which has $26.5bn in assets, has approved new commitments totalling $364m to private markets investment vehicles, according to a report by Pensions & Investments Online.
