Medical Imaging Partnership acquires Nuada Medical diagnostic imaging business

Medical Imaging Partnership (MIP), a diagnostic imaging provider, has completed the acquisition of the MRI business and the transfer of staff of Nuada Medical, based at 45 Queen Anne Street in London, for an undisclosed sum.

MIP has assumed the lease for 45 Queen Anne Street and plans to build on the established reputation of the imaging services established by Nuada at the facility, relying on the 3T MRI scanner installed at the site.

It will continue to serve a range of complex imaging needs, particularly in multiparametric prostate scanning, neurological, and musculoskeletal imaging, and plans to expand the capabilities and services, building on its own experience of delivering high quality patient experience in effective collaboration with clinicians.

Clinically led services are a key pillar of MIP’s service design and it plans to continue to support Nuada’s MRI imaging requirements at 19 Harley Street and Weymouth Street, affording Nuada the scope to concentrate on its broader surgical capabilities.

Simon Oates, CEO of MIP, says: “We are really pleased to have arrived at a structure which allows us to develop our imaging capability in central London building on the solid platform created by Nuada. The quality of imaging and particularly the prostate scanning services operated from Queen Anne Street have a national reputation for excellence. By taking a lease of the building it affords us considerable scope to develop our own specialisations with dedicated clinical support. The staff are delivering an excellent service and we want to continue this in the interests of the patients and clinicians served by the site.”

MIP will operate the services as Medical Imaging London. All existing patients, referrers and clients can assume that their services will continue without interruption.
