Macfarlanes has advised private equity house H2 Equity Partners on the carve-out acquisition of Acal BFi for GBP50 million from discoverIE Group.
Acal BFi is a pan-European provider of value-added design solutions, electronic components, and custom products across a broad range of technologies and applications from electric components parent company,
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.
The Macfarlanes team was led by corporate and M&A partner, Alex Edmondson with assistance from senior solicitors, Nicholas Page and Tom Trotter and solicitor Bryony Foley. Commercial expertise was provided by partner William Hedges and solicitor Robert Grant with finance advice coming from partner Malcolm Hitching and solicitor Valery Nformba.
