Longship portfolio company Sensio acquire Vestfield Audio

Sensio AS, a Norwegian software provider for the care tech and smart home markets and a portfolio company of Longship Fund I, has made a new add-on acquisition with a deal to acquire Vesfold Audio.

Vestfold Audio is a Norwegian provider of alerting systems for people with hearing impairment and cognitive challenges, and of high-quality sound systems for classrooms.

Combined, the two companies become a forceful player within the Norwegian care tech market, with a broad portfolio of solutions and products. Through the merger, the company will be the leading supplier of welfare technology to Norwegian municipalities and to users through the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration. The two companies have around 75 employees located in Oslo and Sandefjord with revenues of approximately NOK150 million.

The company is owned by the founders and key employees alongside Longship. Longship will remain the majority owner also after the add-on acquisition.
