EV Private Equity strengthens team with senior partner promotion

EV Private Equity, a global private equity firm focused on the energy sector, has promoted Houston-based Matt Anstead to Senior Partner. In his new role, he will continue to provide strategic input to the firm’s current portfolio of leading energy service companies, in addition to supporting the execution of new investment opportunities on behalf of EV Private Equity.

Anstead has more than 20 years of experience in the global energy sector. He joined EV Private Equity in 2014, and during his time as a partner he helped build EV Private Equity’s position as a world-leading private equity firm specialising in technology-rich energy investments, as well as helping to grow the firm’s North American portfolio.

Anstead was previously a board member of Romar International, SageRider Inc, and Fotech Solutions. Currently, Anstead is a board member of Abrado Wellbore Services and Evolution Engineering.
